BOSTON, June 28 (Nationwide Times) — A duck boat overturned Saturday near the Charles River entrance in Cambridge, Massachusetts, sending at least six people to be treated and briefly disrupting a popular Boston-area sightseeing route.

Cambridge police said some of the injuries were minor and two were more serious. Boston EMS separately said 11 people were injured and one had serious injuries.

Cambridge police spokesperson Bob Reardon said the tour boat had 32 people aboard when it turned on its side near a boat ramp on Museum Way by Education Street. Police and fire officials said everyone aboard was accounted for and that no passengers ended up in the water.

Massachusetts State Police were leading the investigation. Authorities did not immediately say what caused the overturn, although one account said the boat was being towed when a tow rope broke.
